Rising Stars Business Academy YouthBuild is designed to help young people complete their education, learn job skills, develop leadership abilities, and contribute to their communities. Education and job training are essential pathways to self-sufficiency. To expand students' career options, Rising Stars YouthBuild offers job training in fields such as construction. Rising Stars Business Academy hopes to provide job training programs to gear youth in the following areas: Logistics, Health Care, and Business Administration.
Construction Academy
YouthBuild Charter School of California offers a FREE Construction Career Pathways Training program, in partnership with the Los Angeles/Orange County Building Trades Council, to all young people enrolled with YouthBuild Charter School who wish to pursue potential career opportunities in the construction or building trades. If you are a current or potential YouthBuild Charter School student interested in taking part in our YouthBuild Construction Academy, please talk to your YouthBuild site’s school counselor about enrolling.
